7.8.12 Soul Detox- Week 1- Restless Soul

The BIG question? Am I willing to detox my soul? Restless Soul: Your soul needs rest. Am I will will to detox my restless soul? Where? I find rest in God alone. He is the One who saves me You will find rest for your souls! How? "Be still and now I am God." "Be still.... and wait patiently for Him." "Return to rest.... for the Lord has been good"

7.1.12- Independently Dependent

This week we talked about independence which leads up to Independence Day... We in the physical world embrace INDEPENDENCE  & it defines maturity In the SPIRITUAL we embrace DEPENDENCE & it defines maturity Practical signs of a growing dependance Situational Financial Relational Generosity Physical Health

6.17.11- Preacher

This week we had guest speaker "Preach" who is in the Melchizedek biker ministry. He spoke out of  1 Timothy 1:1-20. Which Paul is speaking about God saved Paul even after he had sinned.

6.3.12 Bold Miracles

American's Pray.... Give us a safe trip Help me get through school Lord keep us safe Lord bless me We have allowed fears to control our boldness! Fusion's focal points -worship -connect -grow -serve -share (the one thing that expires when we leave this earth) The early church was saturated in love (Acts 2:47) Acts 5:18-42 Early church prayed for boldness Apostles were arrested and broke out of jail to go out and preach.. They were called to see the officials and even then they still were bold about the truth.... Apostles were excited about the flogging because Jesus endured flogging for them and then they got the chance to do the same for him 3 applications We need to pray more often to be bold We need to pray more often gratefully We will understand that we will endure persecution

5.27.12- Bold

When the church makes a shift toward pleasing those already in it, at the expense of the mission to reach the lost... it often results in a cliquish, judgmental, narrow, competitive culture within the church... and there is an incredibly accurate indicator as to the current direction a church is headed.... in fact there is a way in which we can take the pulse of where our church is headed based on one thing... HOW WE PRAY!

5.20.12- There's an App for That- Week 7- Grudges

Do you ever hold a grudge against someone? Some people hold on grudges for years and don't deal with them.. This week Pastor Fetter shares that God has created an "App for that"....

5.13.12- There's an App for That.. Criticism

Application makes all the difference... For every (1) encouragement we speak (6) criticism! Proverbs 11:25- He who refreshes others will himself be refreshed. Anyone who is alive longs for encouragement... Do I have what it takes?? Does he notice me? When you encourage others, you will be encouragement!

5.6.12- APP for That Week 5 "HURT"

In every relationship you have your EXPECTATIONS... what you hope and dream this relationship will be like. But then there are the actual EXPERIENCES we have in those relationships.  Sometimes we have a better EXPERIENCE in the relationship than we EXPECTED... but far too often our EXPERIENCE falls short of what we EXPECTED, and this is true in business, at home, in marriage, and within families. We have all experienced relational pains... we all have scars... we all carry baggage from past relationships where our experience was far short of what we hoped and dreamt of.  Today Pastor Fetter turns our attention to the APP that God gives us to heal from past relational pain so that we can move forward embracing the "better life" Jesus speaks of.

4.29.12- APP for That Week 4 "BUSYNESS"

This week Pastor Fetter tackled the "Treadmill of Life" and literally tried to give two individuals a heart attack by putting them through a stress test.  So often the pace of life increases faster and faster, while we try to hold onto to all of our responsibilities and relationships... meanwhile, so often those people in relationship with us begin to let go because we are not moving through life at a SUSTAINABLE PACE. What is the answer to keeping our schedules under control?  How do we find more energy to make it through the week?  How do we create more time with the people we love the most in this world?  The Bible holds the keys, and this week Pastor Fetter tackles the "TREADMILL OF LIFE" asking God, "Lord, IS THERE AN APP FOR THAT?"

4.22.12 App for That- Week 3 "GUILT"

This week Pastor Fetter talked about guilt. He explains that guilt is not from God. He does however explain that conviction is from God. The two passages he preaches from are James 1:22 and Numbers 5:5-7 both from the TNIV.
